Responsibilities: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Experience and specialization. Types of materials. Aluminum alloys. Welding techniques. Gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
