Job Title: Senior Accountant—Accounts Payable

Location: Saudi Arabia, Riyadh

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced senior accountant specializing in accounts payable to join our team. This role is crucial in managing our financial obligations to suppliers and ensuring the smooth operation of our payment processes.

Responsibilities: Manage the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring accurate recording of financial data. Coordinate with the procurement and receiving teams to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipts. Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure timely payments and adherence to payment terms. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies with vendors. Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits of accounts payable transactions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, especially in accounts payable processes. Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
