Permanent Full-Time Educator, Forbes Children's Centre. South Plympton, Adelaide, SA. Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training). Full time. $27–$32 per hour. Forbes Children’s Center is currently seeking passionate and motivated educators to fill a permanent full-time position. This position is a permanent, ongoing contract for 38 hours a week.

The position is based in our birth-3 space and entails the care of children between the ages of birth and 3 ½ years.

Our Children’s Center provides childcare, a DfE preschool, and health, social, and community services within an architecturally designed, modern, purpose-built building. We provide warm, inviting play spaces with nature-play-based outdoor yards. Educators are well supported with higher staff-to-child ratios and significant professional growth and training opportunities.

The ideal candidate should possess the following characteristics: Highly motivated and passionate. We are available to work shifts across our entire business hours, from 6:45 to 6:15 . Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound organisation skills and the ability to use time effectively. Sound judgement and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Understanding of primary caregiving and attachment. Familiarize yourself with the Early Years Learning Framework. Knowledge of attachment theory, the Circle of Security, and Marte Meo is desirable.

Educational requirements: Cert III OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect Training (RRHAN-EC). Current Working with Children Check.
