Pro Perform Physiotherapy is a rapidly growing clinic in the northern suburbs, located in Woodvale on the corner of Trappers Drive and Whitfords Avenue. The Opportunity: At Pro Perform Physiotherapy, we are looking for a new receptionist to join our front-of-house team in August 2024. A key part of this particular role will be to help drive our digital marketing. This includes competency in posting on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, editing photos and videos on software such as Canva ready for posting, as well as learning how to do website alterations and other forms of marketing.

This great opportunity is a part-time position and would be perfect for someone who loves communicating with a variety of different people of all ages, who is organised, enjoys keeping busy, and thrives on contributing to a team effort.

We are looking for someone with excellent people skills and personal skills who loves to bring energy and a smile to the workplace and has a strong work ethic. The front of the house plays an important role in providing the first point of contact for our patients and setting the tone for the remainder of their visit.  We all work together to ensure they have the best experience possible as soon as they enter the doors and until they leave.

The position is asking for approximately 10-15 hours per week and consists of a combination of mornings and afternoons, as well as working every 3rd Saturday morning if we open. Our general reception hours are 8-1 and 2-7 Monday to Friday, but this can be modified to meet the ideal candidate. Along with our other reception staff, your flexibility to cover annual and sick leave will be required. There is scope for career progression within the practice to take on a practice manager role in the future, if suited to both parties.

Key Responsibilities: Help drive our digital marketing through posting on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, photo and video editing, as well as website alterations. Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, and answering any inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Assisting patients with completing the necessary forms and documentation. Scheduling appointments. Processing billing and payments using medical software. Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation. Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally, and electronically. Type documents as required, with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. General housekeeping duties, including general cleaning and tidying. Liaising with Medicare and private health funds. Liaising with other medical departments, such as physiotherapists, doctors, radiologists, medical specialists, and psychologists, with professionalism and discretion.

What We Are Looking For: Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Experience using software such as Canva for photo and video editing is preferred but not essential. Experience using Gmail and Google Docs is preferred but not essential. Professional and happy presentation. Punctual with a high level of self-motivation. Excellent communication skills and telephone manners. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask. Enjoy working in a busy environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail with all tasks. Thrives on working within a team environment.

You will receive full on-site training from our experienced receptionists in learning our systems, processes, and all our practice software programs. We are a patient and supportive team that will provide as much help as needed to ensure you settle in comfortably!
