They are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join the site leadership team and help drive operational excellence.

Further details about the role: As an operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing performance. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the GM, oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement. Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following areas: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the building materials industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
