About the role: Nova Systems is currently seeking expressions of interests from Cyber Security and Cyberworthiness Consultants to work across a range of defense Projects in various locations: Newcastle, Canberra & Adelaide 

What you will be involved in: You will have exposure to defense projects at any stage of the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and applying effective governance and assurance to our Cyberworthiness Program, ensuring alignment with the Defense Cyberworthiness Strategy and achieving the required maturity levels.

Develop and implement a comprehensive Cyberworthiness Program. Ensure the program achieves the required maturity levels and aligns with the Defense Cyberworthiness Strategy. Liaise with the client to manage the sustainability impacts of acquisitions and modifications. Provide monthly reports on key activities and milestones. Oversee effective management and governance of Cyberworthiness risks and threats.

What we would like from you: Australian Citizenship with a current or recently suspended AGSVA clearance NV2. Proven experience in managing cybersecurity programs within a defence context. Strong understanding of the defense Strategy and relevant maturity frameworks. Experience in governance, risk management, and assurance within cybersecurity. Demonstrated ability to establish and define roles and responsibilities within complex projects. Exceptional communication and reporting skills, with experience in liaising with senior executives. Ability to engage effectively in international discussions and collaborations. Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement
