Spatial Services is responsible for the collection, management and distribution of spatial information and services for NSW. Spatial Services is currently undertaking a multimillion dollar digital transformation program to deliver the Spatial Digital Twin—Spatial Services (nsw.gov.au) This ambitious tool will revolutionise accuracy of property development and help communities and neighbourhoods through 3D and 4D planning capability across NSW. Yes? Then this role is for you As a Cloud SysOps Engineer, you will be part of a small team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spatial Services AWS cloud tenancy that hosts ~250+ critical business workloads and providing project support for new workloads being transformed in cloud.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: providing daily oversight and management of the organizationAWS cloud tenancy. Actively contribute in strategic and project initiatives within the organisation that can be realised by leveraging AWS cloud hosting and capabilities.

Your experience The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and experience in managing business workloads in cloud. Prior experience in AWS Cloud, Jira, GitHub and the ESRI product stack is desirable. Willingness to learn and expand in the above-mentioned technologies.
