Salary Grade 9/10: The package includes a base salary range of $ 120,859 to $ 133,183 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Roles: 1 role within Business Technology Services at Spatial Services reporting to the Principal Lead Spatial Delivery Systems; 3 roles within Live NSW program at Spatial Services reporting to the respective Delivery Manager, Products and Services.

Spatial Services has exciting opportunities for driven and passionate individuals to help us build and maintain NSW Spatial Digital Twin. As part of a highly skilled cross-functional team, you will be responsible for undertaking the planning, creation, testing, and documentation of new and amended software components, as well as mentoring other developers.
Key Responsibilities: Designing and enhancing applications and services which manage spatial and associated data; analyzing and translating business requirements into workable technical solutions; administering, testing and deploying applications utilising agile methodologies; providing technical mentoring and support to team members; and actively collaborating with other business units and agencies to deliver consistent, high-quality, customer-aligned solutions.
To be successful in the role, you must have: 6+ years of experience in web/software/GIS development; ability to understand complex processes and information workflows; and experience mentoring others on best practices and helping team members with development activities.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Ability to translate wireframes and mockups into functional responsive web pages using HTML5 and CSS3; strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+); preferably experience with ReactJS; experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs (nodejs, python); knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT); automated deployments via CI/CD pipelines and associated platforms (such as AWS Code Pipeline, Bamboo, BitBucket Pipeline, CDK/terraform, etc.);.
Familiarity with databases and associated processing and storage techniques (postgres); Esri GIS experience (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Esri Javascript API, ArcGIS Image Dedicated/Image Server, Imagery Cache management); AWS experience (Cloudfront, Lambda, APIGateway, CDK, EC2, FSx); and Tertiary education/qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
