They will need to address the following Essential Criteria: Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA. Relevant clinical and educational post-registration qualifications. TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent meeting ASQA requirements. Demonstrated leadership, excellent oral & written communication skills, teamwork skills and a passion for education. Exceptional organisational, problem-solving and time management skills. High level of computer literacy. Ability to engage, lead, mentor and encourage students in a classroom and create a welcoming classroom environment. Ability to manage student matters in academic and non-academic issues. Demonstrated classroom teaching experience, including simulation labs.

Knowledge of best practice within nurse education, including legislative and regulatory requirements. Experience in and/or understanding of mental health nursing would be preferable. Familiar with current nursing practice – within last 2 years. Preferably with experience in using simulation as a teaching and learning method. This position is available to start ASAP. Part-time, full-time, and Casual positions are available.
