This is an opportunity for a senior accountant to join a growing manufacturing business in Melbourne's western suburbs. The role will commence as an initial 6-month contract with some opportunity to extend or the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Client Details: Our client is a National Manufacturing business with sites across most states and territories in Australia. This role will be based out of their Deer Park site. Our client has recently seen a high level of growth both organically and through acquisition, leading to this requirement.

Description: Reporting to the General Manager with a strong dotted line and reporting to Group Financial Controller, the role is responsible for a small team of two employees, A/P and A/R.

Key Responsibilities include: month-end Reporting preparation and analysis. Working capital management. Inventory management: coordinating half-year and year-end stocktakes and cycle counts. Responsible to manage one A/P and one A/R personnel. Statutory Requirements: Audit, BAS, Payroll Tax, and FBT. Payroll. Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Budgeting and Forecasting. Maintain a fixed Register. Assisting with annual audit. Profile. CA/CPA. Immediately available. Available to work on-site. Intermediate to advanced excel skills. Strong communication skills. Open to contract roles.
