Position: Mechanical/Piping Design Engineer

• 10+ years of experience

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

• Has in-depth knowledge of own discipline & basic knowledge of related disciplines.

• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.

• Works independently; receives minimal guidance.

• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

• This may represent the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement.

• Good at English language (Speaking & Writing).

• Preparation of drawings & details engineering as per specified standard.

• Preparation of ITB; review the vendor drawings for approval.

• Generation Plot Plan, Piping General Arrangements Drawing, Piping Layout and Piping Isometrics were supported during HAZOP study.

• Preparation of MTO, BOQ and Review of B.O.Q, Pipe specification, valve data sheet, and raising PR for material purchase.

• Perform Pipeline Stress Analysis using CAESAR, provide recommendation for critical Lines, provide stress isometrics and check the Support Design.

• Liaison and coordination with interdisciplinary mechanical, civil, electrical, structural, instrumentation and process preparation for different project deliverables

• Site visit for Data Collection, Piping As-Built, Line Condition and P&ID Verification on Site.

• Preparation of detailed scope of piping work and cost estimation.

• Report and discuss with the project engineer any problems which arise in the course of job; check, review; study the material packing list with coordination of quality control personnel so that necessary actions can be implemented.
