Furniture Assembler, Vaughan Office Furniture. Location: North York, ON. Salary: $29.00 hourly, / 40 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience 2 years to less than 3 years.

Responsibilities: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles. Apply toners, highlights, glazes or shaders to obtain desired finish. Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports. Apply lacquer or other sealers. Install hardware on furniture and fixtures. Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards. Clean, polish and wax furniture. Sand metal furniture to prepare for finishing and spray with paint or other materials. Strip old finish from wood surface. Smooth gouges with wood filler and sand wood. Make minor repairs to furniture. Make minor adjustments and repairs.
