About the role Reporting to the Commercial Director, our new Commercial Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team and the wider organization.
Key Accountabilities include: contract management: ensuring ongoing compliance with approved contract management plans and procedures.
Coordination: Facilitating contract approvals and signatures by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Information Monitoring: Keeping track of essential details related to insurances, bank guarantees, safety, and accreditation-based licenses.
Document Management: Overseeing the commercial team's internal document storage sites and relevant tools.
Systems Collaboration: Supporting the integration of internal systems and tools across various business areas, including procurement, finance, projects, and operations.
Meeting Support: Assisting in meeting preparation, agenda setting, metrics tracking, and minute-taking.
About you: You are an excellent writer and verbal communicator who thrives on building relationships to drive positive outcomes. Your strong time management skills will allow you to handle multiple priorities across cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will have:
ERP Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in using ERP systems effectively and accurately to input data.
Contractual Understanding: A general understanding of contracts and contractual tools.
Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Proven success in using Microsoft Suite applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Desirable Qualification: A tertiary qualification in business, finance, accounting, economics, law, or a related field.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019 and commences at Clerk C5 ($99,445) plus leave loading and superannuation, determined in line with skills and experience.
