The Opportunity: We are looking for a passionate, proactive consultant to join our Transport Advisory team in Brisbane! You will have a good understanding of traffic engineering in the context of urban and regional transport systems and the ability to provide advice and insights relating to land use and transport, different transport modes, assessments of transport demand, and forecasting. This role will work closely with and be supported by an experienced Director of Transport Advisory.
You will provide a range of services, including advice relating to transport planning for all modes, travel demand forecasting and impacts of transport systems, master plans, land use and transport interaction, and traffic impacts of developments. Draft reporting, proposals, and advice for clients. Demonstrate excellent communication skills by responding quickly to internal and external clients in a clear, concise, and transparent manner. Provide input into draft proposals, tenders, and submissions for projects. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and Planning's business plan.
About you: tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, traffic engineering, transport planning, urban & regional planning, or a related discipline. Experience working in traffic engineering or transport planning teams. Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience.
