About the role Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting, this role serves as the primary support and is responsible for preparing consolidated financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Calvary Group. Additionally, it assists in financial reporting to the Board, the National Executive Leadership Committee, and the Finance, Performance & Risk Committee. The position is also responsible for the ad-hoc measurement, analysis, and interpretation of both financial and non-financial data that is key to driving business results.
A key focus area will be analysis and performance driving of private hospitals across Calvary, working closely with National Office, local operation teams, and local finance teams. The Senior Management Accountant will consult with key stakeholders to develop and provide meaningful reporting to aid in informed decision-making and the effective management of Calvary.
Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification: Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or Business. Must be a full member of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Previous experience in Private Hospitals as well as demonstrated analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and ability to prioritise and work under minimal supervision. Highly advanced computing and spreadsheet skills, including Excel and Word.
Desirable: Experience in the healthcare industry. Experience using TechOne ERP.
