Senior Programs Officer Programs Implementation, NSW Aboriginal Land Council. Parramatta, Sydney NSW. Community Development (Community Services & Development). Full time. Aboriginal Identified position. Fulltime- ongoing position. Located within the boundary of Deerubbin LALC at Head Office, Parramatta, or proximity to a NSWALC Zone office.
Salary Band – 6 with the commencing salary $117,400 per annum plus superannuation of 12% 70-hour fortnight, NFP salary packaging, EAP, hybrid workplace and other benefits.
About the role: The Senior Programs Officer manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of programs to achieve program and project outcomes, and supports the achievement of organisational objectives, as identified within the NSWALC Strategic Plan.
Key Outcomes / Accountabilities for the Senior Programs Officer are summarised as follows but are not limited to: Managing and overseeing all aspects of program and project planning, development and implementation for a range of programs and projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, monitoring budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting program and project-related activities, to ensure program outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established program and project management methodology.
Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure program and project deliverables are met. This includes representing NSWALC at key meetings and on Steering Committees, as required.
Monitoring and evaluating all aspects of program and project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, program and project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess program and project progress and effectiveness, and achieve program and project outcomes.
Managing a project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key programs of works and project/s milestones and outcomes. Undertaking research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based programs and project planning and decision making. Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging program and project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities.
Acting in accordance with NSWALC people policies and procedures, including WHS obligations at all times applying high standards of probity and ethical behaviour.
