About Us Welcome to our newly established Noriter Bilingual Early Learning Centre in Springvale! We have a rare opportunity for an exceptional professional to join our Leadership Team in the role of Centre Director. Our centre, catering to 106 children aged 6 months to 6 years, is dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and enriching environment where children can explore, learn, and grow through a blend of play-based and inquiry-based Reggio Emilia inspired approach.

Our vision is to achieve excellence in early childhood education and inspire learning and innovation in children, families, and the community. We strive to provide the highest quality care, education, and services to our children, families, and the wider community. Our unique approach ensures our services stand out, supported by robust pedagogy, curriculums, and programs.

Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Foster a strong sense of community within the Noriter family, ensuring everyone feels valued and included. Inclusive Environment: Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for children, staff, and families. Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth running of our centre, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support our dedicated team of early childhood educators, guiding them to achieve our vision and goals. Educational Programs: Develop and implement engaging educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Administrative Duties: Manage budgeting, staff scheduling, and reporting with precision and care. Experience with the OWNA platform would be a great advantage.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest in early childhood education to continually improve our practices.

Qualifications and Experience: Passion: A deep love for early childhood education and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Interpersonal Skills: Strong willingness to learn, listen with empathy, and communicate with respect and collaboration. Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent). Experience: At least 3-5 years in a leadership role within an early childhood setting, preferably in a large, long day care service.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training). Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and a strength-based approach to leadership. Impact: Desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.
