Be a part of a dynamic and technical engineering team. 12 month Fixed-term contract with a chance to go permanent.

The Company Our client is a global, high-tech engineering group providing solutions that enhance productivity, profitability and sustainability for the manufacturing, mining and infrastructure industries.

The Role Create high-quality CAD models and drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD based on provided information. Evaluate design problems and develop practical and efficient solutions. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to meet all design and drawing requirements. Understand and leverage manufacturing processes to simplify designs for efficient fabrication. Utilize SAP for managing material numbers, document revisions, and timesheets. Adhere to policies and procedures in managing daily work.

About You Minimum of 3+ years of experience in steel fabrication and heavy industry equipment design, modeling, and drafting. Experience in a workshop environment is advantageous. Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Proficiency in using Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD is essential. High attention to detail with a methodical approach to design and drawing. Ability to work effectively in a team, autonomously, and without supervision. Capable of working in a structured and organized manner while remaining agile to adapt to shifting priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to meet task time limits and deadlines. Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
