Day to Day: Oversee all aspects of the Finance department, including the leadership of a small team (2) of finance professionals. Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient operation of the finance function. Perform project costing and analysis. Monitor performance in close collaboration with the leadership team. Provide cash flow forecasting and analysis. Drive the automation and improvement of finance systems and processes and strengthen cost controls. Ensure technology solutions align with best practice.
Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan. Utilise your commercial intellect to drive results. Provide analysis / performance insights that aid growth, ensure appropriate resource allocation and or deliver cost efficiencies. Provide regular commentary around variance to budgets and forecasts. Ensure timely monthly reporting. Maintain responsibility for meeting all statutory obligations.
