Position Name: Backend Developer (ReactJS, NodeJS) Consultant

Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite)

Client: Ministry of Defense services project.

Duration Of Contract : Initially 6 Months of contract (Extendable to 12 Months)

Job description:

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems and thrives in a collaborative, creative environment. In this role, you would be responsible for continuously improving our IoT application frameworks, testing and QA processes and building new exciting functionalities. The application developer will be responsible for development of web-based IoT solutions.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•Strong experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, PostGIS, TimescaleDB

•Strong experience in Database designing of ERD and writing SQL queries, stored procedures including query optimization

•Stong in core Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus

•Object-Oriented analysis and design skills, understanding of design patterns, concepts like OOD, TDD, BDD, DDD, CI/CD

•Background in debugging and performance tuning along with a good understanding of deploying, maintaining, and monitoring complex Java applications

•Proficiency in RESTful web services

•Good knowledge of microservices design patterns

•Good experience with messaging system like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

•Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose

•Knowledge of Kubernetes

•Version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub)

•Test driven development

•Familiarity with Linux OS like Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS

•Experience working in a Devops environment

·Education and Experience:

•Strong work experience in JS, ReactJS, Redux, and related frameworks and tools.

•Experience in backend development using Java, Nodejs, Spring Boot or Quarkus
