Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented seamstress to work independently within our bridal shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridal alterations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for performing alterations on bridal gowns, ensuring each garment fits perfectly and meets our high standards of craftsmanship. Our preference is that you will perform work at our premises but we are open to employing an independent contract worker.

Key Responsibilities: Perform alterations on bridal gowns with precision and care. Collaborate with brides to understand their alteration needs and provide expert advice. Conduct fittings, measurements, and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and comfort. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Work independently while adhering to deadlines and managing multiple projects. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements: Proven experience as a seamstress, preferably with bridal or formal wear. Exceptional sewing and alteration skills. Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric types. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
