Front-End Web Application Developer
You have the ability to mix programming and layout to power the visuals and user experiences of the web. You feel comfortable developing web applications against back-end web services and third-party APIs within a framework or CMS system.
You experiment with new methods, frameworks, and techniques in solving the problem of responsiveness to a myriad of different devices. You are adept at using git for source versioning and working with other developers on a full-stack solution. You strive for automation in deployment and are always on the lookout for better solutions to make the job easier.
You are attracted to startup environments where you have to think on your feet and your contributions have a huge impact, rather than large, corporate environments where, although your job is well defined, it is difficult to be exposed to all aspects of the business. However, you also appreciate working for a profitable company so that you can plan for the future.
Requirements:
• HTML and CSS
• Javascript
• JQuery
• AJAX
• Python or similar language
• RESTful Web Services API integration
And the nice to have:
• Telco experience (provisioning, billing, customer care or network)
• Database development and SQL skills
• E-commerce (Magento / Zend / PHP)
• Atlassian On-Demand (Jira, Confluence, et al)
• Amazon Web Services
