Accountant, Safe Trans Australia Pty Ltd. Regents Park, Sydney NSW. Financial Accounting & Reporting (Accounting). Full time. Salary dependent on experience. The role sees you supporting and facilitating the week to week accounts for our Sydney office. 

You would be responsible for a range of daily/weekly tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, superannuation, payroll tax and general office administration. The role will also involve preparing and lodging business activity statements.

This role will appeal to an experienced Accounts administrator (minimum 1-2 years in similar role) or a recently graduated Accountant.

This role reports directly to the General Manager.

Additional responsibilities include:

Full end to end Accounts Payable

Full end to end Accounts Receivable

Assist with cash flow management and budget forecasting

Reconciliations and monthly reporting

General support & organisation of office operations and procedures.

Manage office supplies, stationery, services and kitchen requirements

Liaise with IT support where required

Track income/costs relating to job costings - spreadsheet records

Payroll using MYOB accounting

Ability to use other accounting software including Rekon and Xero and have above average spreadsheet/microsoft excel skills

Ability to interpret Awards and apply these to the business’s HR needs

Other administration tasks as directed by management.

Your skills and qualifications will include:

Minimum Certificate 4 in Accounts bookkeeping or Accounting, Diploma or Degree qualification

Proficient use accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, Recon accounts as well as, Excel, email, invoicing and data entry

Experience with quarterly BAS statements

Self-motivated with a positive attitude
