Payroll Officer, Appreciating Recruitment Group. North Shore & Northern Beaches, Sydney NSW. Payroll (Accounting). Full time. $80,000 + Super + Salary Packaging.

The Role: This role is responsible for the accurate & timely processing of payroll for the entire business.

Some of the daily duties whilst in this role include but are not limited to: End to end processing of payroll. Updating and maintaining payroll records. Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems. Calculation and processing of termination payments. Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations including Single Touch Payroll reporting.

Processing increases and calculation of back pays. Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions. Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries. Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts. End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries. Sound knowledge of tax and superannuation legislation.

The Candidate: Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience. Experience with Chris21 & Kronos. Demonstrated experience processing payrolls on a weekly basis. Experience maintaining payroll and time & attendance data. Confident & skilled Excel user (including V Lookup & Pivot Tables). Experience interpreting awards and agreement. Sound knowledge of tax and superannuation legislation.
