Total Remuneration Package $185,650 (Package includes base salary $165,183 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading). About the role
The Project Manager role is responsible for leading the planning, organisation and control of significant complex projects and sub projects spanning the full continuum of initiation/design and implementation in relation to designated business strategies to meet project objectives, and enable TAFE NSW to achieve its strategic goals, business benefits and outcomes.
Working as part of the RTO Re-Registration team within the Educational Quality Branch and reporting to the Program Manager RTO Re-Registration, this role will have a specific focus on project managing TAFE NSW’s policy document reviews in preparation for the organisation’s RTO and CRICOS registration renewals with the Australian Skills Qualification Authority (ASQA). The role will also provide policy advice to enhance organisational effectiveness and transition the organisation’s policy framework to the Draft Revised RTO Standards 2023 and supporting legislative instruments. This role will also be responsible for managing the Educational Quality Branch policy review schedule.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have extensive practical experience in policy document analysis, stakeholder consultation and policy advice and drafting. You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to work independently and under pressure to plan and manage your workload and multiple priorities to meet project deadlines. Previous policy review experience in the tertiary education sector and/or a working knowledge and understanding of the vocational education and training (VET) and ESOS legislative frameworks and ability to reflect associated compliance requirements in policy and procedure documents will be highly regarded. A degree qualification in project management or in a related field or equivalent significant experience is also required.
