Are you a talented Chef with a passion for cooking who wants to make their mark in the Brisbane dining scene at one of Brisbane's most unique venues?

Medley Kangaroo Point is on the search for a talented Full-time Head Chef with appropriate experience to help lead our kitchen team. You will assist in building a strong team focusing on breakfast and lunch service and events, headlining our dinner service and special events. This is a rare and unique opportunity to be a part of one of Brisbane's most loved venues.

About You: take charge of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and manage a strong team, building great work relationships; have the opportunity to work for a fantastic venue with an increasing patronage and demand for dining; design menus in collaboration with other chefs and owner; be responsible for ordering and minimising wastage; work with owner/managers in overseeing kitchen staff, operations, rostering and productivity and be rewarded for helping grow the business; senior management goals/targets will be set and you will work to the best of your ability to achieve the best possible outcomes; the freedom to express yourself through culinary flare (menu design) and teamwork to help showcase the talents and build/grow the business, together with owner-directors; have excellent communication skills and meet with senior management and the kitchen team on a regular basis; build on our events and special events; a strong work ethic and commitment to building/growing the business are essential and efforts will be rewarded accordingly; the ability to work in fast-paced environments and seek staff productivity through effective staff management in less busy times are critical.
