The time has come for us to say goodbye to our beloved Centre Cook who is heading overseas, so this presents a unique opportunity to welcome someone new into the position.

As a Childcare Cook, your core responsibilities will include the following:

Prepare and cook nutritious meals that are culturally appropriate for children 0-6 years, following our nutritionally crafted menu and recipes.

Provide for/or supplement alternative foods/beverages for children with allergies or special food/dietary requirements.

Prepare weekly stock take and ordering.

Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene

Comply with all relevant regulations, policies and work guidelines.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in cooking for large groups of children aged 0-6 years (desirable but not essential)

Relevant Commercial Cookery/Hospitality qualifications and food handling certificates, including (SITSS00069) Food Safety Supervision Skill Set. A current Working with Children Check. Basic training in Food Safety and Nutrition. What makes Treasured Tots different?
