The Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (PMUCC) provides care for patients unable to access their usual GP when they have an urgent but non-emergency health care need.

We are seeking applications from FRACGP General Practitioners with experience in triage and treatment of urgent health care issues including but not limited to: Fracture management. Minor cuts and lacerations. Sprains. Sports' Injuries. Removal of foreign bodies. Minor eye and ear problems. Respiratory illnesses. to undertake shifts in in the (PMUCC).

The service operates Monday to Friday 9 am to 7 pm and 10 am to 6 pm on weekends and public holidays. A range of shifts within this span of hours are available and may be negotiated on a case by case basis. An hourly rate of $250 exclusive of super is on offer under an independent contract arrangement.
