Responsibilities: Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Plant and move trees. Tree removal. Supervise helpers. Set and sharpen all types of saws. Prune trees. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses, Arboriculturists Trade Certification. Experience and specialization. Type of heavy equipment operated. Loader. Landscaping experience.
