Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Distribute clean towels and toiletries. Stock linen closet. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Clean and disinfect elevators. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Clean changing rooms and showers. Provide personal care. Provide companionship. Care for pets.

Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder). Administer bedside and personal care. Feed or assist in feeding. Administer medications. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
