Tool Crib Attendant

TRS Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a high caliber Tool Crib Assistant to join our client's team of experienced professionals. You will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the, Gas & Petrochemical sector in a modyard in Acheson, AB.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
 Inventory of tools, inspect tools and equipment for wear or defects.
 Ship and receive materials and equipment (load/clean equipment)
 Organize materials and tools for the worksite
 Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib
 Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision
 Maintain equipment and tools
 Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
 Maintain records of tool use
 Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites
 Experience in equipment and tool maintenance
 Good knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)
 Keep proper/updated certifications on all tools and MSDS sheets for consumables
 Ensure cycle counts are accomplished on a daily basis
Required Qualifications:
 Valid Class 5 drivers (with a clean abstract), CSTS, and any other site safety tickets
 Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
 Excellent communication skills. Working with all levels with internal and external clients
 Good to have:
 Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
 Positive attitude and compliance towards safety
