Cabinet Maker (Installer Entry Level Position)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 Hourly for 42.5 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cabinetmaker Trade Certification, Not applicable
Experience: Experience an asset
Major Work Area: Custom Work, Furniture and cabinet assembly
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential, Custom cabinet shop
Area of Specialization: Cabinets
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Trim joints and fit parts together, Sand wooden surfaces, Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products, Set up and operate saws and other woodworking machines to cut, shape and form parts, Laminate cabinet and furniture components, Prepare and apply laminated plastics, Prepare and apply solid surfaces, Install cabinets and custom woodworking at job sites
Additional Skills: Maintain clean and safe work environment
