Air conditioning and Refrigeration Technician urgently needed, Randburg, Johannesburg. We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration and  Airconditioning Technician to add to our growing team. In this position, it will be your job to look after our client's for Airconditioning and Refrigeration units. We serve the needs of Residential, Commercial and Industrial clients. So you will need to able to repair several different types of Airconditioning and Refrigeration Units. The role is located in Randburg.

Refrigeration Technician Duties: Should have hands on experience in overhauling open and semi hermetic compressors. Experience on maintenance and repair of airconditioning and refrigeration systems. Experience on repairs multiplex system, refrigeration cases, cold room, walk in freezers, blast freezer and highback chillers, cabinets. Experience on repairs central ducts, DVM system, Package units, VRV System, splits units, cassettes, underceiling, console. Should be able to follow layout drawings and carryout installation of piping and other refrigeration equipments.

Should be able to braze / repair detective joints and leaks. Should be able to do fault finding and repair inverter systems. Should be able to understand refrigeration controllers and manuals. Experience on repair / replacing inverter and universal pc boards. Experience with fault finding and diagnostics.

What you will need to suceed: Relevant trade qualifications. Minimum 5 years' experience within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. Proven experience as a skilled Technician with a strong understanding of aircon and refrigeration systems, controls and components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals. Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of team. Excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach. A valid Gas practitioner License is a plus. Physical fit and able to work at heights if required. A valid driver's License. Valid Company referrals.
