Minimum Requirements: Matric. Information Management qualification or equivalent. Data analysis with SQL skills experience. 2 to 3 years’ experience in a technical solving environment. 2 to 3 years experience in the asset management industry. Knowledge of financial markets. Business Process Analysis and Design. CIPM advantageous. Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint. Infostore or other datawarehouse knowledge is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and jointly take ownership and maintenance of data to enrich reporting data warehouse for optimum efficiency. Work closely with various internal departments to understand all user data requirements and provide data support for all downstream reporting needs. Coordinate the implementation of downstream reporting requirements with internal stakeholders and where needed, service providers. Ensure the success of daily data take on processes and to diagnose any problems that might occur. Liaise with users and information service providers to ensure ongoing accurate and timely automation of all data feeds. Responsible for sourcing, maintaining, or classifying new instruments, portfolios or other static data to ensure ongoing accurate downstream reporting or data query.

Manage data translation tables setup to ensure ongoing accurate downstream as required by various downstream systems. Manage and understand corporate actions, i.e., code changes, merges and impact to data warehouse and downstream reporting. Working knowledge of data warehouse and pricing vendors.
