Senior Bookkeeper required for Accounting and Tax practitioner Group 3 years minimum FULL Bookkeeping experience required. Salary R18 000.00 to R22 000.00 based on experience.

The role will consist of the following: Bookkeeping to Trial balance. SARS eFiling - Vat201 & Emp201 submissions. Preparation of Trial Balance for accountants. Reconcile Banks, Debtors, Creditors & balance sheet ledgers. Payroll on Sage, Paymaster, Simple pay, Pastel, Journal entries. Assist clients with understanding their books, Client visits. Set up of take over balances and new client books. Knowledge of Stock, adjustments etc. Some income tax knowledge.

Essential Requirements: Basic accounting knowledge. Organization skills. Attention to details. Integrity and Transparency. Communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Knowledge of accounting systems – Sage One accounting , Xero, Zoho, Quick Books online, pastel. Knowledge of MS Outlook , Excell, Word, Clockify, Syft. Time Management Skills. A way with numbers. Produce work with a high level of accuracy. Must reside in CAPE TOWN areas and preferably in the Northern Suburbs. Own motor vehicle essential. English & Afrikaans – speak and write both fluently.
