5* Iconic wine estate is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor that will be responsible for identifying problems and necessary maintenance, ensuring that all building systems, equipment and facilities are in good working condition.

KPA’S: Inspect facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance; Prepare daily, weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work; Supervise and train maintenance technicians; Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.

Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.); Compile maintenance budget and ensure compliance; Purchase and monitor inventory of materials and equipment; Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations); Ensure adherence to quality standards and health & safety regulations

Appointment Requirements: Grade 12, 3 - 4 years previous experience as maintenance supervisor; Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.); Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. Understanding of budgeting and performance management; Excellent planning and leadership abilities; Attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills; Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments; Must be well-presented & enthusiastic Competitive market-related salary on offer, including benefits.
