Junior Restaurant Manager, City Centre, Cape Town. Junior restaurant front of house manager required in busy seafood establishment in the V&A Waterfront.
Requirements: Should have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player but should also be able to delegate. At least 3 years experience in a similar role. Be very visible on the floor and comfortable interacting with guests. Previous experience on pilot software advantages. Would be required to work shifts/weekends/holidays. Opening and closing procedures (cash up day end).
Must be very reliable and honest - own transport required. Candidate should have an attention to detail approach and always look for ways to improve. Knowledge of food cost/wastage /stock control is essential.
