The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on the plant. Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns of plant and machinery. Fault finding and repairs. Repair basic electrical circuitry and components and testing of units to evaluate electrical and mechanical operation. Maintain plant and equipment.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: Millwright trade certificate (Section 13 and served apprenticeship). Minimum N4 qualification mechanical and electrical theory. N6 Diploma Electrical and Wiremen’s License will be advantageous. PLC and VSDs certificate and experience will be advantageous. Previous experience in the electrical maintenance/repair will be a distinct advantage. Able to work with minimal supervision. Willing to work shifts and overtime. Fluent in English. Verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate. Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment and deadline driven. Must have own reliable transport.
