Permanent Citrus Packhouse Manager, Kirkwood, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Staff Solutions PMP. Our client in Kirkwood is seeking a Packhouse Manager to join their team.

Key Performance Areas: Coordination of packing operations during shift. Ensure that marketing requirements are followed. Ensure that hourly and daily production and quality targets are met. Identify areas and reasons for poor production and address them. Ensuring the adherence to local and international food safety standards and requirements. Assurance of continuous quality control measures. Report any equipment failure and maintenance requirements. Record all relevant production and technical data.

Minimum Requirements: Agriculture Diploma/Degree advantageous. Agricultural background advantageous. Previous fruit and/or packhouse experience advantageous. Computer literate. Energetic and hands-on.  Hard working, deadline driven, and diligent. Accurate, organized, and demonstrate initiative. Ability to work with and motivate a team.

Strong management and communication skills. Proven mechanical and maintenance experience essential. Good understanding of local and export quality standards. Willing to work irregular and long hours unique to the citrus packing industry.
