Responsibilities: Managing and supervising all construction activities on site. Planning and scheduling project timelines and ensuring that they are met. Ensuring that all work is carried out according to specifications and safety standards. Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. Managing and supervising site personnel. Maintaining records of site activities, progress and costs. Ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available on site. Reporting to senior management on project progress and issues
Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in civil construction. Experience in earthworks, road construction, wet services such as water, sewer and storm water, as well as concrete work. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials and equipment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance. Must have a valid driver's license.
Remuneration: To be negotiated depending on candidate. Job Type: contract. Salary: R18,000.00- 23, 0000 per month. Ability to relocate: Cape Town Tzaneen Johannesburg Rustenburg.
