Applications are invited for the vacant positions in the Technical Department of a leading manufacturing company based in George, Western Cape. 2 x Technicians (Junior-Mid) (Electrical, Mechanical). 1 x Technicians (Senior) (Electrical, Mechanical, Millwright, Electrician). 1 x Workshop Manager / Maintenance Manager: Matric / Grade 12 Certificate. Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering Qualification. Relevant Electrical / Engineering experience. Machine refurbishing & Maintenance Experience. Willingness to be on Standby & shifts. Willingness to attend to Call out’s. Knowledge in commissioning and upgrading of machinery. Ability to identify, assess and solve problems. Ability to work under pressure. Honest and committed, no BS. Plastics industry experience - beneficial.

Technicians Main Functions and Responsibility: Performing a wide range of engineering tasks. Maintaining electrical equipment.

Workshop Manager Main Functions and Responsibility: 8 years + experience in managing technical projects and people. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks. Maintaining electrical equipment. Manage workshop inventory. Reporting daily to GM. Plan projects with GM. More detail can be discussed.
