We are looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to do maintenance and repairs on vehicles. The successful applicant will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality of clients vehicles. 

Successful candidate would need to have a good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Applicants should have an excellent understanding of complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate problems to service advisor and clients if necessary.

Responsibilities: Doing full all-round inspection of vehicle after being checked in. Test drive and assess mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems in order to repair, maintain and upgrade as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix related issues (e.g.leaks). Accurately Record work and issues on each vehicle on the workshop tablet system.

Maintain all equipment and tools in good functional condition. Other general vehicle repair and maintenance related functions. Ensuring vehicle is clean and presentable to clients on collection of vehicle.

Requirements and skills: Valid qualification from certified tertiary institution. Minimum 5-10years proven experience as auto mechanic. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition in order to perform necessary duties. High school matriculation is preferred. Ability to handle various workshop related tools and machinery.

Ability to multi-task. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Team player. Good time-management skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
