Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV and Access Control Systems. Conduct site surveys to assess the requirements for CCTV and Access Control installations, including network and fibre solutions. Perform IP CCTV installations, including camera placement, wiring, and network connectivity. Set up and integrate Cathexis VMS (Video Management System) for CCTV installations. Ensure proper functioning of network infrastructure. Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance. Provide training and support to end-users.

Requirements: Proven experience in IP CCTV installations is essential. Previous work experience with Cathexis VMS is highly desirable. Solid understanding of enterprise-level CCTV and Access Control Systems, Knowledge of industry standards and protocols. Strong background in networking, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, and routing protocols. Familiarity with network infrastructure components, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and cabling. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to CCTV and Access Control Systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Personal Skills: Matriculation with some tertiary training. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.
