Our client is a leader in precision engineering, pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering exceptional results. As a CNC Setter, you'll play a crucial role in their manufacturing process, ensuring the flawless operation of their state-of-the-art machinery.

Your Responsibilities: Set up and prepare CNC machines for production, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and programs are in place. Conduct thorough inspections of machine setups, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal performance and precision. Interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings to program CNC machines accurately.

Monitor production processes, performing regular quality checks to guarantee adherence to specifications and tolerances. Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, sharing your expertise and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements: Matric with around 10 years of experience. Proven experience as a CNC Setter, working on a variety of machines in a high-speed environment. Solid understanding of G-code programming and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Strong attention to detail, with a passion for precision and excellence in your work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge.

Working Hours: Night Shift 19:00 - 05:30 (Mon - Thur)

Day Shift  7:00 - 16:00 (Mon - Thur) & 7:00 - 13:00 (Fri)

Benefits: R75 per hour + Provident fund, overtime + shift allowance
