A well-established IT company has a position available for an Admin Assistant. The candidate MUST have a financial background as the job involves assisting the Finance & Accounts Departments. Please note that this is an entry-level finance position and as such financial knowledge is a requirement.

The duties of the Admin Assistant will include, among others, the following: Answering incoming calls and taking messages for Service Controller to call the customers back. Checking inContact on a daily basis and placing orders from the inContact list. Logging all orders on the order on Excel sheet. Goods receiving all purchase orders. Closing off all stock invoicing job cards, transferring of stock and invoicing customers. Sending stock for warranty claims to supplier with necessary documents and logging it on a sheet. Quoting customers on parts or extra toner requests and assist with possible upgrades. Monthly meter readings. Stock management and conducting stock take.

The desired qualifications and competencies are as per the image, and it is very important for the candidate to possess the required competencies as you will be tested.

We require a friendly, professional person who is willing and able to take instructions and understand and carry out their job properly. The salary on offer for this position is R 8 500 negotiable dependent on experience. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
