Shipper-receiver (Material Handler)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Day, Evening
Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Manufacturing plant
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment
Type of Equipment: Lift trucks and fork-lifts, Dollies and hand trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Type of Operation: Manual inventory control, Handling of raw materials
Specific Skills: Determine method of shipment, Schedule transportation conveyances, Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, Maintain internal record-keeping system, Record shortages and discard damaged goods, Route goods to appropriate storage areas, Pack goods to be shipped, Unpack goods received, Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
