Ironworker, curtain wall installation (Curtain Wall Field General Superintendent)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: $70,000.00 to $120,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Bonus
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Markham, Ontario (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS, Driver's License
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Fabrication, New construction (Pre-engineered), New construction (Not pre-engineered)
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial, Commercial, Institutional
Area of Specialization: Install curtain and window walls finishes, Other area of specialization
Specific Skills: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms, Work at heights and in confined areas, Move and install robotic equipment, Erect hoisting equipment, Install rigging
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Perform job-site calculations, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers
Security and Safety: Driver's validity license check
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
