OVERVIEW

Due to our clients’ continued growth, we are seeking a driven and successful Sales Director to join the growing team. This senior level position requires someone with a strong sales and leadership background coming from a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have successful experience managing sales team 50+ people in a call center environment selling services over the internet and telephone. You will have a relentless focus on developing the sales team to achieve company sales and profit goals, while expanding the market presence Canadian and U.S. market. You will manage a team of 30+ people. You will employ sales, analytic and problem solving skills to develop persuasive value propositions for prospective clients and will skillfully influence their respective decision makers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Develop and manage new clients, customer portfolios and sales pipeline in the B2C market.
    Develop a proactive client acquisition strategy that is reflective of the market’s construct, including organizational makeup, available financial and key partnerships.
    Manage a team of sales people in the creation of customer savings and value propositions to help customers choose the option that best fits their needs.
    Assess economic viability of prospective projects and implement strategies to increase project revenue streams and reduce costs.
    Train and mentor sales teams to ensure in depth product and services knowledge
    Interface with the Finance, Development, and Operations teams to thoroughly understand physical and financial project characteristics.
    Identify efficiencies within the organization, lead, mentor and motivate others.
    Communicate and manage cross-functionally with all levels of management.
    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the market and sector landscape and competition by consistently exceeding goals.
    Travel to the USA may be required.

Qualifications:

    10 years of sales management experience
    A goal oriented and driven to success personality
    Flexible, adaptable to changing environments
    Experience in a start-up fast paced environment
    5 years sales management in a B2C –Business to Consumer service company
    Experience managing a call center environment
    IT savvy well versed with CRM -SalesForce
    Experience managing a call center environment
    Proven track record of exceeding corporate objectives.
