Job requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience in cost estimating for multi-disciplined projects in one of the following industries - Automotive, General Engineering, Mining, and Mineral Processing, would be highly advantageous. A qualification of either a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a B Eng, would be advantageous. Advanced proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is a must. A good understanding and knowledge of engineering projects. Skilled in the ability to write professional reports, quotations, tender documentation, and specs. Must be able to cost and quote on multidisciplinary projects of various sizes and complexity. Must be target driven, technical, and practical. Must be able to work in a highly pressurized environment. Due to the nature of the industry, long hours and weekends.
