Required Skills: Excellent - Windows server administration skills and strong linux administration skills. Microsoft Active Directory: clustering, administration, maintenance. Understanding of networking and protocols. High Availability/Load Balanced concepts. Web/Mail servers: Apache. Firewall technologies and concepts.

Beneficial Skills: Experience in a web/application/domain hosting or cloud services environment. Scripting: PowerShell or any scripting. SAN / NAS storage knowledge/experience (iscsi/NFS/CIFS). hardware configuration and management. VMWare ESX/ESXi/vSphere. Qualifications/certificates in relevant areas may work in your favour, but aren’t essential.
